Welcome to Bumble & Bee

Welcome to Bumble & Bee, our Antenatal to preschool centre where we have sessions available for all ages. Bumble & Bee is a space where children let their imagination soar and where they meet with other children their age while also bringing parents together, to create friendships that can last a lifetime.

Bumble & Bee is divided into two rooms, Baby Bee Room and Bumble Room. Baby Bee Room is for babies from Birth to 13 months. Within this room, we have the renowned Baby Sensory Rochdale permanently based.

In Bumble Room, we run playgroup sessions for all ages, up to 5 years old, giving children the chance to explore and create, a safe space to play and also meet lots of children of a similar age.

We also have the amazing Keepabeat classes running on a weekly timetable, bringing in my nursing background under the wonderful Brand- Keepabeat. We offer a range of classes: Basic Life Support and First Aid training for parents and carers, weaning sessions, Dinky Medic sessions (toddlers aged 2-6) and also Junior Medics (6-12years old).

You will be greeted by the same team of passionate educators and play leaders who love getting to know each child and their family.

Our team are here to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and support parents too. Because we’re a close-knit group, you’ll quickly come to know us, and we’ll come to know you, making every session feel like a community rather than just a visit.

The Bumble & Bee ethos

Bumble & Bee has been an idea that has been brewing for almost 5 years now, with my background as a Health Visitor and Paediatric Nurse, I understand how important the early years are for children and their families. With this in mind, I have brought a comfortable space, that is a home- from- home for families to our local area.

We are based within the recently renovated Spotland Bridge Mill, which is a beautiful, historic building, within the Rochdale area.

    Bumble and Bee is a wonderful space that is warm and inviting. It’s a space that promotes creative and child-led play with fantastic resources for children to explore. My children loved visiting and having the freedom to explore in the Bumble Room. The Bee Room was so cosy and perfect for babies to feel calm and relaxed. We can’t wait to visit Bumble and Bee again soon!
