Hello, I’m Jess. The owner and Founder of Bumble & Bee, owner of Baby Sensory Rochdale and owner of Keepabeat Rochdale. I am a mummy of 2 little girls and 2 doggies and have a wonderful and understanding husband, as I often get a little buried in work as I absolutely LOVE what I do!

Since leaving school, working with children has been my life’s goal. I trained as a Paediatric Nurse and worked for almost 10 years, primarily in NICU. I continued my work with children and families after gaining my Health Visiting degree and worked passionately in this for around 5 years. My career path changed dramatically after becoming a Mummy, where I began dreaming of opening Bumble & Bee. This is when I bought my first business, Baby Sensory® Rochdale and took my first leap into owning a business and soon discovered that my dream was actually happening!

As something close to my heart, we completed further training to bring Keepabeat® Rochdale to Bumble & Bee which enables us to deliver such vital training to parents and carers, whilst also “Teaching the Heroes of the future” with the children’s sessions. Bumble & Bee was finally ready to be brought to life!

Hi I’m Vic! I am a wife and a mummy to both a little boy and sausage dog called Bono! They keep me very busy when I’m not working!

Before starting out as a class leader for Baby Sensory in April 2024, I attended the classes as a mummy myself and watching my little boy learn and explore something new each week really made me want to be a part of other parents journeys. I am a barber by trade and have been in that industry for nearly 10 years now but before that I attended the usual college/sixth form with no idea what I wanted to do in life!

From being young I’ve always had a love for singing and dancing and performed in many a pantomime and show so being able to sing dance and be silly while working seemed like the perfect job for me!

Hey, I’m Becky!

I am really excited to be part of the Bumble & Bee team, and can’t wait to have lots of fun with you and your little ones!

I have been working with children for over 20 years, in both play-based and educational settings. This began with my work as a Play Leader and as a Teaching Assistant. After later completing my degree in Primary Education, I was a Primary School Teacher for 13 years where I taught across the Primary age range. Since leaving the classroom, I have set up my childminding business, and am an Ofsted registered Childminder. I love being able to work with children every day and their energy and enthusiasm always bring me joy!

Outside of my work life, I am a mummy to two lovely daughters, and have a fabulous husband who I enjoy having lots of fun and adventuring with! I love all things creative, reading and being outdoors! I also love music, singing and dancing – even if it’s just around the kitchen!
